Bouncing Bulldogs is a Chapel Hill-Durham, North Carolina based not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing jump rope instruction and experiences to jump rope enthusiasts around the world. The Bouncing Bulldogs have been a model for producing youth ambassadors who are passionate about jump rope, physical activity, civic engagement and education for over two decades.
The Bouncing Bulldogs Jump Rope Team is comprised of 160 boys and girls from the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area of North Carolina, ranging in age from 5 to 26. The team is based in Chapel Hill and Durham, North Carolina. Team members can teach and perform hundreds of synchronized skills, maneuvers, and dances using a combination of single and double dutch ropes. Their innovative jumping style includes fancy footwork, flips, and other acrobatic skills with ropes of various lengths. |
MISSION
The goal of the Bouncing Bulldogs program is to promote jumping rope for fun and fitness, and to help all children to grow
physically, emotionally and socially. Education, good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork are emphasized among all team members.
